Geoff has cone-rod dystrophy. As his sight became progressively worse, he had to abandon his career and reconsider his future. 'I had to stop. I was washed ashore as an unemployed person.'

The doors finally opened for geoff when he came into contact with Action. 'I wouldn't have been able to do it without that lift. Action really understand the needs of visually impaired people.'
