Could you volunteer your time for Action for Blind People?

We rely on our volunteers' effort and enthusiasm, from getting involved in service user research groups to helping out in our offices. You could get involved in a number of our services including but not exclusive to:

  • Action's housing team
  • Actionnaires children's activity clubs
  • Action's hotels
  • The local community, giving talks about Action for Blind People’s work
  • Get involved in our service user participation initiatives and research groups

Volunteer at our Vacation Schemes

The Vacation Schemes are specifically designed to meet the social needs of blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 8 - 17 years, who attend mainstream school. Volunteers provide a valuable contribution to the successful delivery of the vacation schemes.
