Organise your own event for Action for Blind People with our support

Throughout the year there are many amazing people who raise money for Action for Blind People by organising their own events. Below are just a few of our Action People who have spent a great deal of time and effort to raise money for us - a massive thank you to everyone!

What other people have done:

Mark Adams and David Pietruch from RAF Northolt rowed the length of the Thames, cycled the A1, ran the M25 and climbed the three peaks to support Action for Blind People. They completed this challenge in the RAF gym in just 26 hours 19 minutes and have raised approx £600 for us.

Bob Croucher has been a supporter of Action for many years. Over the years Bob has walked all around the British Isles and last year Bob added Ireland to his list, by walking 500 miles from Cliffden to Dublin. Bob has now walked a grand total of 5,448 miles, raising over £4,000 for Action for Blind People.

Robin Aikman completed a unique walk, starting at the Roman fort at Birdoswald on Hadrian's Wall and finishing at the Museum of London on the London Wall. Robin walked over 360 miles and raised over £2,250. Well done!

• Many more including quiz nights, fancy dress parties, cheese and wine tasting, jumble sales, car-boot sales, dinner parties and BBQs
