Donate in celebration to Action for Blind People
You can donate to Action for Blind People with a charity wedding list, on behalf of an anniversary, to celebrate having a baby or instead of birthday presents by setting up a Just Giving personal fundraising page.
Are you getting married but don't want a traditional wedding list? We have the perfect solution!
Our online charity wedding list is a great way to celebrate your special day.
Many couples feel they already have most of the things they need for married life before they tie the knot. Now you can offer your guests an alternative, or additional, way to mark your big day.
Rather than buying you gifts, your guests can make a donation to Action, raising vital funds for blind and partially sighted people.
We also have wedding collection envelopes as well as two designs of wedding table place cards available. If you would like to order these please contact us on 0300 123 3321 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
Celebrating an anniversary?
If you're celebrating a special anniversary this year and already have everything you need, why not ask friends and family to donate to your anniversary celebration page.
A perfect way to mark your silver, ruby or even golden anniversary.
You can also order celebration collection envelopes and place cards by calling 0300 123 3321 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm).
Having a baby?
Don't want a baby shower? If you are having a baby and don't want the fuss of a baby shower, you could instead ask your friends to give the money to charity. The money will go towards helping blind and partially sighted children and adults.
Do you have a big birthday coming up but don't want presents? A birthday fundraising page is a great way for you to ensure your friends know exactly what you want their money to go towards.
Setting up a personal fundraising page is easy to do. Simply create a page using the Justgiving website. Your guests can log-in and donate by credit or debit card, 24 hours a day. Plus online donations from UK taxpayers collect a 28 per cent bonus via Gift Aid.
It's a great way to support Action for Blind People and also a good way to avoid the tricky problem of unwanted gifts!
