Activity breaks

Action Activity Breaks are residential holidays for children and young people, aged 8-17 years, who have sight loss and have a good ability to understand and follow instructions. The main aims of Action Activity Breaks are for participants to spend time with others who are blind and partially sighted, to provide opportunities to increase independence, to extend social skills, but most of all to just have fun.

  • Willing to attempt new activities.
  • Reasonably independent in self-care and mobility skills.

Please ensure you provide as much information as possible so that we can plan suitable provision to support the needs of the activity break and ensure a safe and happy holiday for everyone.
